I am happy to give lessons to any beginner to intermediate musicians (first-timers no problem!) in or around Brooklyn, NY.
I have been playing drum set and percussion for over 12 years with experience in studio recording, live musical theater and, and competition-level drum corps.
Lessons focus on patiently building (or rebuilding) a sturdy foundation of rhythm comprehension, consistency, and expression via underlying muscle mechanics. Students learn through a combination of rudiment work and deconstructing tunes of his or her choosing.
Rates
Rates are $30/hour, or $100 for a block of 4 hours
For $20 more I can provide a set of drum sticks and practice pad for you to keep, if necessary.
